1. Introduction
Welcome to Alexandra Davis Photography (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking a session, purchasing services, or using our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before booking or submitting payment.
2. Services
We provide lifestyle, portrait, and event photography sessions within the Austin, Texas area and surrounding regions. Details of each session — including duration, number of edited images, and deliverables — are outlined on our Services page or in your individual client agreement.
3. Booking and Payment
A 30% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your session date and time.
The remaining balance is due 24 hours before your scheduled session.
Sessions are not confirmed until the retainer and signed agreement are received.
Payments are accepted via the method(s) communicated at the time of booking.
4. Rescheduling and Cancellations
Life happens. If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
Your retainer will transfer to a new date based on availability.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in forfeiture of the retainer.
In the unlikely event we must reschedule due to illness, weather, or emergency, you will be offered the earliest available date that works for both parties.
5. Image Delivery
You’ll receive an online proof gallery within approximately [ ] of your session.
All final images are hand-edited for color, exposure, and tone consistency.
Raw (unedited) files are not released under any circumstances.
6. Copyright and Usage
All photographs remain the copyright property of Alexandra Davis Photography.
Clients receive personal usage rights, which include sharing on personal social media, printing, and personal display.
Images may not be sold, altered, or used commercially without written permission.
We reserve the right to use select images for portfolio, website, and promotional use unless you specifically request otherwise in writing before your session.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for arriving on time and ready for the session. Late arrivals may reduce shooting time but will not reduce session cost.
Please notify us in advance if there are specific needs, accessibility requirements, or special requests for your session.
8. Liability
While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure safety and care, Alexandra Davis Photography is not liable for injury, property damage, or equipment failure beyond our control. In any case, liability is limited to the amount paid for the session.
9. Digital Files and Archiving
Final edited images will be available for download for 30 days from delivery.
After that period, files may be archived and subject to a retrieval fee if needed later.
10. Privacy Policy
Your personal information and images are never sold or shared with third parties without your consent. All communications and payment data are handled securely. For details, refer to our Privacy Policy.
11. Agreement
By booking a session or using this website, you acknowledge that you’ve read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
